Sample Day Trip Schedules

Full-Day (9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)

A leisurely handicap-accessible walk of the Shrine, including the life-sized Stations of the Cross, then the afternoon services:

9:30 a.m.Arrival
9:45 a.m.Walk the life-sized Stations of the Cross (this is a long but gently sloping paved path)
10:45 a.m.Visit the National Shrine Church and visit the reliquaries in the side chapels.
11:30 a.m.Visit the Shrine Gift Shop
12:00 p.m.Lunch (bring your own)
1:00 p.m.Confession & Adoration in the National Shrine Church
1:30 p.m.The Rosary
2:00 p.m.The Mass
3:00 p.m.The Chaplet of Divine Mercy
3:30 p.m.The Blessing of Religious Articles
4:00 p.m.Departure

Morning-Only (8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)

A condensed morning for those with a limited amount of time.
